"While visiting the Cascapédia River Museum during a cycling trip in the Gaspésie, I found out that the Mi’kmaq community also referred to Angers River as “Skimenac River”. A provincial salmon fishing brochure also identifies Angers and Skimenac as the same body of water at the confluence of the Cascapédia River.
